Yoga at Moses

Three beautifully restored stone cottages, set beneath the beautiful picturesque village of Amieria, Oleiros. This is the perfect place to retreat to. Here, you will find the time and space to relax and rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit whilst breathing in the clean air and sitting amongst the olive groves, grapevines and old cascading terraces. Moses is a peaceful, purpose designed, well-equipped space where you will instantly be made to feel at home.

Accommodation:

The stone cottages are surrounded by orchards and olive trees. The cottage is open plan with 3 storeys, there is a double bed on the mezzanine floor, a kitchen, a single sofa bed in the lounge area and 2 single beds on the loft room. The bathroom is situated in a little building to the right of the cottage with a shower, bath and dry toilet. There are two double guest rooms in the farmhouse for those wishing to have a little more privacy.

Gardens and walks. Bright indoor Yoga studio. Glorious outdoor Yoga veranda. Massage and Acupuncture studio. Swimming in river Zêzere.

Disabled access:

Access is difficult as the mountain paths are steep and uneven.

Delicious vegetarian food, home grown or supplemented locally out of season. Special dietary needs are catered for.

Special activities:

Daily yoga classes, Tui Na massage, Thai Massage, Indonesian Massage, Acupuncture and cupping. All guests are invited to work in the gardens after yoga practice if they so wish. Stone building workshops available.

Situation:

The farmhouse is set in the foothills and forests of the Serra de Estrella mountain range of Central Portugal.

Access:

Coaches from Lisbon and Porto take 3.5 hours and run daily to the local town of Oleiros, on arrival you will be collected by car.
