Interfaith
A lovely short drive hedged with cherry trees and magnolias and spring daffs brings you to this mellow and comfy and welcoming old country house. Rooted in Christianity but open to all faiths, the Grange has been continually updating itself with bright and light new decorations and landscaping more of the gardens. The retreat and relaxation approach here takes the idea of offering a Country House Retreat with the slogan: Here is the house, let’s use it for peace and quiet! So traditional bed & breakfast accommodation for a peaceful stay as well as a programme of courses compose the offerings.

The garden has a labyrinth based on the one in Chartres Cathedral and this garden plus woodland and pasture gives a guest over 10 acres in which to wander. Peace, harmony and kindness are to be found here.

For older women there are a weekends and courses to reflect, reassess and search for new personal potential within the security of a small group. Indeed one of the main concerns here has long been to explore and celebrate the second half of life for women. These sessions have grown in strength over the years.

Craft courses are being developed with the theme that these can be spiritual adventures for personal development and not just past-times and have fairly well settled down into painting and writing workshops. There is also a Natural Therapy Centre with various therapeutics on offer like counseling, aromatherapy, reflexology, and Reiki healing. Yoga sessions and courses have increased through growing demand.
