Multi-Faith – Christian Traditions

"Charming. Peaceful.

Wonderful retreats. A very special place.

Highly Recommended "

                                                         The Good Retreat Guide 2004

This remains a very special place. The Abbey seeks to offer space, peace and support for individuals and groups who want to be still and find closer connection with the sacred dimension of life and with God. The Abbey with its charming inner courtyard, flowers and surrounding meadow-like areas has been going for a number of years and the community here seeks to provide a space for the development of consciousness and the expression of spirituality in the 21st Century. The current Community here is small but dynamic, full of cheer and thoughtful. The programme of events is designed to encourage personal, social and ecological transformation and nourishment of our inner lives. There are many courses on offer at the Abbey, which have included meditation, poetry for All Saints/All Souls/Advent/Epiphany, dance, yoga, sound and voice, sacred clowning, healing, the feminine and masculine in various faith traditions, a retreat on Soil Soul and Society, and living in community. The Abbey Community is willing to discuss with you joining them to experience their life and work.
