Rumwood is a large Colt type wooden house, very warm and nicely furnished with various extensions made over the last few years- for example, a summerhouse and sauna. The sitting room has a wonderful fire and there is an amazingly designed open stone fire as well. Carpeted throughout, it is a place where much thoughtfulness has gone into making people feel comfortable and relaxed. People come here then to rest and to release tension and stress. On offer are several healing therapies including Thai healing massage, Bach Flower Remedies, lifestyle analysis, Reiki, and herbal nutrition. Thought Healing Therapy is a major interest of the owners and one is a Reiki Master. Information is available on both these healing approaches. One specialty course sometimes available is on peacemaking between men and women. 

Open: All year mainly on weekends. Closed for Christmas. Receives men and women Couples and Partners. 

Rooms: 2 single. 2 double. Facilities: Garden, guest telephone. Bring soft shoes for indoors and a swim towel if you want to use the sauna. Library. 

Spiritual Help: Personal talks, spirituality direction. Guests 

Admitted to: Unrestricted access. 

Meals: Everyone eats together. Simple whole food. Organic if possible. Vegetarians and vegans.

Charges: £80 weekends. £100 for Monday-Friday stays.
