Dru Yoga – the style

Dru Yoga is a unique body-mind approach to yoga that will add many new dimensions to your life. Combining strength with flow, grace with power, Dru Yoga will help you gain full access to the body’s energy at every level – physical, subtle, emotional and mental.

Known as the ‘yoga of the heart’, Dru Yoga works to rebalance your emotions as it exercises and energises your muscles.

You can practice Dru Yoga at home from our Dru Yoga DVD www.druyogadvd.org with Mansukh Patel and Coby Langford, or from the latest Dru Yoga book - Stillness in Motion www.stillnessinmotion.org, with Mansukh Patel, Annie Jones, Anita Goswami and Chris Barrington.

Tailored for the 21st Century, yet rooted in ancient yoga tradition, Dru Yoga will give you unique flowing sequences, a profound understanding of traditional yoga asanas (postures), powerful breath-work, mudras (hand gestures), affirmations, and wide-ranging meditation and relaxation techniques.

Dru Yoga was first introduced into the west in the late 1970s by Ecchaben and Chhaganbhai Patel, who trained a small group of students including their son: Mansukh Patel, John Jones, Annie Jones, Chris Barrington, Rita Goswami. It is now taught in Europe, Australasia and North America with 7 Teacher Training schools.
