Roman Catholic- Ecumenical The Monastic Community of Bose, founded by Fr. Enzio Bianchi in the late 1990’s, is an Ecumenical community with each member retaining his or her own church membership after joining Bose. Living under the Rule of Saint Benedict, the Community remains close to the ideals and spiritual values of the early Desert Fathers. The Community has gone from strength to strength in a very few years and has a second house at Assisi. The Community produce a brochure with full details about their life and how to travel to get to them. There is a newslatter and a number of good spiritual books have been published by Bose. The monastery is 65 km from Turin and 115 Km from Milan. Car, Continental train or bus and air from Britain are all possible. |
